It's a beautiful time of change. I love the colors the season brings and the smell of nature; deep, rich and a bit spicy as summer fades. It's also a time for comforting foods, friends and family. Snuggly sweaters, extra long hugs and cuddles.
I like to travel a bit north to Flagstaff where there is a little bite in the air as winter is attempting to hasten autumn out and push its way in. It's time for Oktoberfest which seems to usher us into the season a bit loudly, but I love it, and would enjoy seeing you there. We'll have a booth again as we celebrate our 3rd year participating in this event. Here are the details:
8th Annual Flagstaff Oktoberfest will be held October 1, 2016 in Wheeler Park!
11 am to 8 pm
There will be food, beer, polka music, shopping and contests, and it's all for a great cause! Oktoberfest Flagstaff are raising money for Feeding Northern Arizona's Future which is an amazing local non-profit - no overhead - all the money goes to help feed children in Flagstaff!
