about us
Hi, and welcome to my website! I am Vickie Barber-Ellis and I created this website in order to share my passion for unique, one of a kind, handcrafted jewelry with you.
Each piece is one of a kind and hand made. I've designed and created everything you see on this site. I select each element of every design, from the type of metal, chain and gemstone to the often handmade findings.
My passion for design and wearable art began at a young age and has been one of the driving forces in my life. It all started in my junior high school shop class, learning to play with fire and hot metal - learning the tools and techniques to make cool jewelry. In high school I designed and made a lot of my clothes myself, often creating new pieces daily, stitching them up the night before class or a special event.
While I've enjoyed many jobs and careers in my life, my creativity has been the
common thread running throughout. From seamstress and clothing designer, teacher, civil engineering field, and computer science to my current position as the manager of product development at a global product sourcing firm, all have stimulated my creativity.
It is my greatest wish to add joy and beauty to your life through my jewelry designs. I hope you'll browse and enjoy what I've created for you, and hopefully find just the thing that makes your heart sing!
